Transmission repair. I would like to offer members my ability to overhaul automatic transmissions (i.e. power glide, turbo 350/400 or 200r4/700r4). I charge $300 for a rebuild which includes gaskets, clutch, modulator, filter and a shift improver kit. If you want to upgrade any part, the price is increased only for the price of the part. I do not have torque converters. I am ASE qualified and I have been doing transmissions since 1976. I do stand behind my work. I can get cores if needed. I need at least one week usually, to rebuild a trans.

I would not be afraid to drive this car across the country, however, I can not guarantee that. I can not deliver (unless you are a Golden Gate Goats member located in the Sacramento metro area or Bay Area), however I can assist with loading for transport.

    PARTS FOR SALE:

I have a Tri-Power Ram Air pan and seal for a 66 GTO. I was going to try to fit my dual quad pan into the tri power one but was told it would warp like a potato chip. I paid $359 for it at AMES and I will take $300 for it. It's brand new, still in the box.

Call me if you are interested or know of someone who is. Joe "The Kid" Novinski - 650.766.7247

Global West tubular front control arms, coil springs and Koni shocks. Original cost approx. $1600. They will fit GM A-Bodies from '64-'72. Here are the Global West part #s in case anyone wants to look them up. The parts are new and in the boxes.
    Upper A-arms (CTA-42A)
    Lower A-arms (CTA-42L)
    Coil Springs (S-20)
    Koni Shocks (8040-1087)

Selling for $1,000. I would be willing to deliver in the Bay Area for the cost of my gas, which would probably be cheaper than a freight company. If you have any questions call Matt Kimbler at 559-970-8364 or Email: mattkimbler1965@yahoo.com.
